5 things.

I was tagged by charissa and michelle. The idea is to post 5 random things about yourself.... and hopefully have them be interesting?? lol. I will try...

- I am obsessed with Apples. I have always loved all fruits (how could one not!?) but ever since I was a kid, I have had a loyal love to Apples. I have several photos of me when I was a baby, holding an apple or eating an apple. My mom said I used to live on Apple Juice. To this day, I eat at least three apples a day and I have never ever gotten sick of them. Even talking about them makes my mouth water. To me, they are THE perfect food. I could happily live off of all different sorts of Apples. As of lately, I am enjoying Braeburn but it changes weekly. Last week I was all about Pink Lady's.

- I am very good at keeping myself occupied. I like to think of myself as a social person because I love meeting new people and I am very outgoing when around others and I love talking to people and learning about people, etc. However, I enjoy spending time alone a lot as well. I am perfectly content staying in, curled up with a good book or watching movies all night with my animals. I'm never really bored because I always find a way to entertain myself. Whether it be by dancing around my apartment like a dork or working on a scrapbook, reading fashion magazines, playing around with makeup, I always find something to keep myself occupied and I never feel an intense need to be around a bunch of people. I am not really sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, I guess it could go either way.... because I do have the tendency to be some-what of a recluse at times and shut myself off from people and other days, I want to socialize.

- I find enjoyment in the smallest things. Truly I do. For instance, one of my favorite things to do (no lie) is to go on amazon.com and look up a new book, search around on various peoples wish lists and click from one book to another, reading reviews and recommendations, etc. I can do this for hours at an end and sometimes I find myself spending more time looking and reading ABOUT books rather than reading THE actual book, lol. My other guilty pleasure is to read a book and then watch the movie based on the book. I literally get all giddy when I am about to see a movie based upon the book that I have just read. It is little things like that which make me happy.

- I have loved Marilyn Monroe since I was around 12 years old. I have grown up with her as my idol and inspiration. Reading about her, learning about her, watching her movies and looking at her pictures, gives me a sense of comfort. I feel very much connected to her in a way that is hard to explain and may sound strange to some people but I feel that she is an angel and the epitome of beauty. My apartment is pretty much filled with Marilyn and every birthday or holiday, I tell people to get me anything Marilyn related. I may be 23 years old and collecting Marilyn memorabilia and to some that may seem strange but I guarantee when I am 60 years old I will be sipping on my tea, watching Some Like It Hot and still loving Marilyn and I wouldn't have it any other way!

- I am terrified of Spiders. I have serious arachnophobia. It started when I was young and I had more than a few bad experiences with spiders and to this day when I see one, I freak out. I am getting better, but I'm not sure the fear will ever go away. Even writing about them right now is giving me the creeps lol. I am also horribly afraid of Freddy Kreugar, as ridiculous as that may sound, I was traumatized after watching Nightmare on Elm Street when I was just 11 years old and ever since then, I have had reoccurring nightmares with him in them and I cannot watch one of the Elm street movies without feeling traumatized all over again. It’s crazy. Lol I just find it extremely terrifying, the thought of someone being able to come into your dreams and kill you. The whole concept is just… very creepy.

I tag: Melinda, Malynda, Darice Michelle, and I have to find some others who have not been tagged yet!!! So anyone else you hasn't been tagged.... well... TAG! lol

Hi Faith - thanks for stopping by my blog and now I get to stop by yours. Glad I did! How fun to read about your 5 things and be able to relate to a lot of it.

Let's see: I love to read books, esp. ones that get turned into movies (I always feel so proud when it's a book I read long before there's mention of it becoming a movie, like the Lovely Bones); I hate spiders and other creepy crawlies. I start to itch (no lie) when I see too many of them on TV or in a book; I enjoy being social too but love my alone time and I love the movie Some Like it Hot! That is a funny movie!

Thanks for sharing. I plan to read more of your blog. Maybe it will turn into a movie someday! :)

Oh my gosh, you and me are so mucha like! I too find enjoyment in the smallest things and have been known to go on amazon and do just what you do lol

I'm also really good at keeping myself occupied and tend to prefer spending my time alone but I also enjoy meeting new people.

As if that wasn't enough, I'm also terrified of spiders....I just can't help it :(

Britanie,

The greens stay good because I juice them up so fast!!! I'm going through about

1 bunch celery
3-4 bunches parsley
12 apples
2 bunches spinach
1 bunch arugula
4 cukes
1-2 bunches kale, ect EACH DAY!!

It's crazy! I never worry about anything going bad!

Just found your blog through a link on the CSC forum. I'm thinking this blog will be helpful encouragement for me to up my raw veggies (which has been a slow transition! But it's a start...)

i loved reading this, you and i are similar in several ways!!
did you know btw that the scent of vanilla is not only an aphrodisiac and calming. . . but it also curbs the appetite. . . i just learned this from someone's blog (now i've forgotten who!). . .
I ADORE apples too. especially braeburn. mmmmmm. and i get the whole social vs. reclusive/ amusing yourself thing completely. my astrologer told me it's not a bad thing as long as i don't become a complete recluse! i'm working on it. . . we'll party it up at successfully raw!!!! cause hooray, i'm going!!!
see you there . . .
